About us
The Trust’s aims
To advance the education of the public in the knowledge and appreciation of the arts and music and in particular but not exclusively the music of blind composers and blind pipe organists.
Overview
The Arabesque Trust has been set up primarily for blind pipe organists. In the comfortable setting of an elegant North London house, individuals can request items from the library of braille musical scores available for use on the premises. Advice and tuition in Braille music literacy can be arranged.
A large collection of musical recordings is also accessible for listening on vinyl, reel-to-reel, cassette, CD, and other formats.
The Arabesque Trust may be able to assist with travel costs to and from the premises in North London. However, it should be noted that the Trust channels its grant-giving through the scholarship and bursary scheme. For other assistance, it is suggested that you contact The Amber Trust or the RNIB.
